We look for candidates who
- are career minded and take pride in their work and profession
- are upbeat and happy
- have clean backgrounds and driving records (if driving children)
- have dependable transportation to and from work
- are non-smokers
- are pet-friendly
- have experience working in a busy family home
- are organized and self-starters
- can speak a second language (nice to have, but not required)
- are vaccinated (some families require this)
- are CPR certified
- have a minimum of three verifiable references in the field
- For longer term placements, the family be looking for a minimum of a one year commitment, but preferably longer.
- For nannies – someone who is active, enjoys being outside, can multi-task, is creative and knows how to keep children busy and active. Swimming is a real plus and a must with families that have a swimming pool.
